The University of Navarre is keen on proposing new weekly activities for all students, teachers and workers. UNAV Life, The Documentary, covers this events, and we could even say that they are the basis for its existence. Therefore, we provide you with the most updated information on those activities that are prepared for each week. We recommend you to visit this section every weekend to check whether you are interested in attending some of them.
FOURTH AND FIFTH WEEKS (27 NOVEMBER-10 DECEMBER)

Here we present you with some events which will take place next week and the week after that one. They are the closure of this semester!
We could start mentioning the Christmas Campaign (organized by Tantaka), which you can assist to on November 27 at 08:00, in the Central Building. For further information, you can write to [email protected]. Also, on December 1, Friday, at 12:30, in the lecture hall M5 of the Edificio Amigos, the seminar Mente-cerebro will be held by the group called "Precursors to Explanations of Action". It is organized by the Instituto Cultura y Sociedad. Finally, on the same day, at 13:00, the ILCE will organize the closing of the semester and a turronada. THIRD WEEK (20-26 NOVEMBER)

This is a selection on some of the events you can assist to next week. We´ll start talking about a seminar from the project "Navarra Center for International Development", under the name Linguistic Diversity, Official Language Choice and Nation Building: Theory and Evidence. It will be given in November 20 at 12:00 in the lecture hall M4 of the Edificio Amigos, organized by the Instituto Cultura y Sociedad ([email protected]). In November 21, at 10:00, the Faculty of Medicine organizes, in lecture room 1 of the Museo Universidad de Navarra a speech named Curso avanzado de estilos de aprendizaje: de la teoría a la práctica. You can ask for more information through the mail [email protected]. Also, in November 22 at 16:00 you can assist, in lecture hall M2 of the Edificio Amigos, to the event called La España de hoy y el Espíritu de Reforma, organized by the School of Law. The next day, on Thursday 23, on 00:00, the Facultad de Económicas will give a speech, IV Navarre-Basque Country Macroeconomics Workshop, in the Edificio Amigos. On Friday 24, you will be able to assist, at 10:30 in Seminar 0510 of the Humanities Library (Southern Entrance), to a meeting with Professor Lourdes Ortega, about the theoretical diversity in the acquisition of second languages. It is organized by ILCE. And finally, on November 25, at 08:00, Tantaka will organize the Christmas Campaign in the Central Building, which will laslt from November 24 to December 15. SECOND WEEK (13-19 NOVEMBER)
Here you´ll find a compilation of some of the events UNAV has organized for this week. Firstly, in November 15 the Law Faculty organizes at 12:00 a speech called Caso: venta de privalia in the Edificio Amigos. The next day, November 16, you will be able to attend the event called VII encuentro anual- Instituto cultura y sociedad, which will be made in the ICS class of the Humanities Library 09:00. You´re able to make contact and look for more information through the webpage [email protected]. It would also be pertinent to mention the seminar 10 claves para que tu evento sea un éxito, in which, as the name suggests, the speakers will do an explanation of 10 key elements which can help you make your events more successful. The speech will be given in Class 13 of the Edificio Amigos in November 16 at 19:00. It is sponsored by the Campus and organized by the ISSA School of Management Assistants. In November 17, Dr. José Terencio, master´93 and Operations Director, will give a Conference labeled Value creation in Biotech companies. If you are interested in it, you can contact [email protected]. Finally, in Saturday 18, there will be a Photographic Manipulation Studio by Fernando Maselli in the University Museum at 10:00. You´re all invited to participate! |
FIRST WEEK (6-12 NOVEMBER)
Firstly, if you study humanities or you are interested in Ancient History, you cannot miss the Congress that will take place in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences from next Thursday onwards. Its title is Signs of debility and crisis in the occidental cities of the Roman Empire (I - III d.C.). You can find more information clicking here. Secondly, if you think that you need to improve your English or you are thinking of signing up for a Cambridge Exam, have a look at the intensive courses that are going to be held in the University next week. Afterwards, on Tuesday there are two events that may strike you as attractive. The first one is a seminar titled The Politics of Religion at the European Court of Human Rights, where justice, politics and religion will be discussed. The second one covers the rehearsals of the University´s choir. On Wednesday, a discussion on the series Catholicism will be held in the Central Building and, what´s more, in the Museum of the University of Navarre some workshops of photography will be carried out by Fernando Maselli, a very famous artist. On Friday, students will be able to participate in the course in specialization in sports law or the conferences of the science week. Remember that this are just some of the activities that will take place in the University next week!
